NOLAThe Orleans Room Composts!

In partnership with NOLA Green Roots, we compost pre-consumer vegetable & fruit scraps. In our first semester of composting we contributed more than 3,000 pounds to help create nutrient-rich soil for community gardens across the city. Read more in our blog.

Trayless Dining

By not using trays in our dining room we save one quart of water per diner per meal. That adds up to more than 14,000 gallons of water we DON'T use each month.

All of our napkins are made from 100% recycled paper, saving trees. They are also compostable, making them an important building block in creating nutrient-rich soil.

Zero Trans-Fat Oils

Sodexo uses zero trans-fat oil products in all foodservice operations nationwide. Zero Trans-Fat products include salad dressings, sauces, soups, breads, muffins, cereals, pasta, breaded chicken, eggs, tortillas, oils and a range of other items.
